Wilderness Reserve - Suffolk is Expanding
Wilderness Reserve, a breathtaking array of private country houses, barns, deluxe holiday cottages, and off-grid hideaways in the rural region of Suffolk, is thrilled to announce its latest expansion on the 8,000-acre property, featuring eight new accommodations to launch in 2024, and one in early 2025.
Situated amidst the woodland, lakes, and rolling pastures, Wilderness Reserve boasts an assorted collection of 18 vibrant properties, ranging from a 15th-century barn to charming thatched cottages. Designed to complement their surroundings, the first four newly-launched properties on the estate, Yelm Cottage, Tin Lizzy, Newt, and Poachers, are each distinctive in appearance and set beside their private lake and woodland. The new lake houses are equipped with hot tubs, spa rooms, Big Green Eggs, Pashley Bicycles, and five complimentary electric BMW cars to explore the reserve and the neighbouring areas.
At the estate, restaurant-quality food and locally sourced produce come together to provide guests with exceptional dining experiences. From luxury hampers from the Estate Kitchen delivered to each home with easy finishing instructions to experiences such as the ‘Fire Feast’ in the woodlands or a private chef in guests’ homes, the estate caters to all requirements, from relaxed barbecues or grazing menus to formal three-course dinners with canapés.
Following Wilderness Reserve's recent collaboration with BMW, each property comes with a complimentary fully-electric car that guests can use throughout their stay. With a choice of seven different models from March, guests can select the model that best suits their needs and enjoy the latest technology in complete luxury in the all-electric BMW range.
Focused on providing an unparalleled experience, Wilderness Reserve offers over 40 distinct activities for guests to enjoy during their stay, maximizing the full potential of this secluded location, its lakes, and surrounding woodlands. From archery and axe throwing to wild swimming and falconry, guests can reconnect with nature while taking in the beautiful scenery. To ensure that guests can relax and unwind completely, the reserve offers a variety of spa and wellness treatments that can be enjoyed from the comfort and privacy of their homes. Therapists are available every day of the week, and new properties come complete with hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and treatment rooms.
With sustainability at its core, Wilderness Reserve's team of wildlife advisors has been able to restore nature by enhancing the surrounding habitat, with pond restoration, hedge-laying, wildflower planting, woodland creation, planting over 1.5 million trees, and reversion to grassland from areas of arable farmland. The estate's commitment to environmental conservation and preservation makes it a truly unique destination that guests can appreciate while enjoying their stay.
